The Milan Bike Trail

In 1976, a 3-mile bike trail was constructed along MN Highway 40 that connects the Milan Beach Resort (Randall's) on Lac qui Parle Lake to the western edge of Milan.  In 2002, the trail was resurfaced in part with a grant from the Department of Natural Resources.  The trail is used by bikers, walkers and joggers.

There are plans for the Milan Bike Trail to connect to the future Appleton Bike Trail System.  The Appleton Bike Trail is currently in the process of “Phase One” construction.  When all phases are complete, there will be a trail connection along scenic areas from Milan to Milan Beach and then to the city of Appleton.
